News & Notes: Week of August 21st
- Mark your calendars! Curriculum Night is Thursday, September 7th.
- One of the assignments for the learners this week is to create a literacy time. Students will pick a minimum of 5 books that represent a different point of their life. Learners will create a timeline showing the order of the books and write a brief description of them. I have linked a sample of a Prezi presentation below. Another option is to create a poster (example on flyer sent home) if that would be easier.

- College Day is every Wednesday! Wear your favorite college spirit wear!
- Remember to bring a water bottle every day! It is hot outside and we definitely want the kids to stay hydrated while we are outside for recess.
