4B got to experience our first lesson in the Pinkerton Patch! We learned about living and nonliving features located in our garden. Our Real Garden instructor really taught us a lot about how to utilize our outdoor learning space!
In ELAR this week we are working on connections. As learners read their books, they are making connections all over the place! One on my favorite read alouds to spark some connections is Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad, Day! Learners were able to make some connections to their own bad days!
Our current unit, How We Express Ourselves, has us creating a variety of different poetry. This week we are writing a perspective piece from the point of view of our favorite body part! Learners thought it was pretty funny to write from a body parts perspective!
Happy Birthday Edward!!
Last Friday 4B discussed the events of 9/11. We were able to share out what a hero was to us and how they come in so many different forms. We read the book Fireboat that sparked learners to share the events through their own words.
iPad rollout!!! We were so excited to get our iPads today!! They will be a great tool to help our learning grow!
